1. What we collect
- Account data: email and authentication identifiers.
- Uploaded content: building plan PDFs and images you submit for analysis.
- Generated content: estimates, dimensions, and material lists derived from your uploads.
- Billing data: handled by Stripe; we store only customer/subscription identifiers, never card numbers.
- Operational logs: error traces and usage counters required to operate the service.
2. How we use it
To provide and improve the Service, process payments, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, and communicate important account notices. We do not sell your personal information.
3. AI processing
Uploaded plans are sent to third-party AI providers (Google Gemini via Lovable AI Gateway) for OCR and structured extraction. Providers process content under their own privacy terms and do not use your content to train models on your behalf.
4. Subprocessors

5. Data retention
Uploads and estimates are retained while your account is active. You can delete individual projects at any time. Closing your account removes account-scoped data within 30 days, except where retention is required for tax, accounting, or legal compliance.
6. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), you may request access, correction, deletion, or export of your data. Contact privacy@constructquote.app.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy and surface a consent banner where required.
8. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is gated by row-level security and least-privilege service roles.
